  1. Why do you need this information?
    SoftCom Technology Consulting Inc. uses this information in order to be able to pay you or your company the commissions earned as part of the affiliate program.

    General Fields
    Username Enter a username between 5-10 characters in length. The username can consist of letters and numbers and will be used for validation when logging in to check your statistics and update your account. If this username already exists in the database you will be informed to select a new name.
    Password Enter the password to be used when logging into the system. Similar to the Username the required length is 5-10 characters.
    Name Enter your first and last name.
    Make Checks
    Payable To
    Specify the name or company name to which checks are written.
    Email Enter your email address.
    Tax ID or Social Security Number or VAT Number Enter your Tax ID or Social Security number. This may be required for tax purposes if your volume of sales requires tax reporting.
    Address, City, State, Zip and Country Enter the street address, city, state, zip and country of your mailing address. This is required for sending checks in the event of a sale(s).
    Telephone and Fax Enter the phone and fax number if available.
    Comments Enter any optional comments.

    Web Site Information
    Web Site URL Enter the fully-qualified URL of the affiliate web site. (Ex. http://www.softcom.biz)
    Web Site Title Enter the title/description of the affiliate web site for information purposes. (Ex. Visual Basic code snippets and files.)
    Notify By Email When
    A Sale Is Made
    Selecting yes will send an email notice to you each time a sale is made.


  2. Can I modify or update my information?
    Yes. Once you have joined the Affiliate program you can logon to your account and update the information by selecting Update Account form the menu.

  1. How do I get started?
    Under the Create Links heading in the menu choose from the type of campaign you wish to run on your website.

    • Static Banners
      This will allow you to select a single banner to display on you website. Simply select a category from the dropdown menu, this will display the banner(s) in the window. Then copy the code in the text box below the banner image to your website.
    • Rotating Banners
      This will allow you to select a group of banners to display on your website. The banners are grouped by size and brand (mail2web.com/myhosting.com). Simply copy the code in the text box below the banner image to your website.
    • Text Links
      This will allow you to select a text link to display on your website. Simply select a category from the dropdown menu, this will display the link(s) in the window. Then copy the code in the text box below the link to your website.
    • Custom Links
      This should only be used by advanced users. Select the text link from the dropdown menu and then enter the URL of the page you wish to redirect to. Click the Generate Link button and then copy the code from the text box to your site.
